Analysis
For an analysis of your current or existing file, you can contact me. I work for a fixed fee. I will review and analyze the file and also explore the possibilities for a possible new or different application. In almost all cases, I can provide advice on how to proceed and whether my assistance is required.
Second Opinion
You can contact my office for a second opinion. This is usually done when your current lawyer sees no reason to continue with the case. In almost all cases, I can check this for you free of charge. The procedure itself can be carried out on a legal aid basis or for a fee, depending on the nature of the case. This not the same as taking over a case (see below). You can register your case for a second opinion here.
Takeover a case
Taking over an ongoing case from another lawyer on government payment is not possible at my office. This can only be done for a fixed legal fee. If you choose me to take over a case on this basis, you explicitly waive your right for government payment. You are free to contact a firm that is willing to help you on government payment. Once you receive a new decision or ruling, it's no longer a takeover case, at that moment we can request for government payment. This must be properly coordinated with your previous lawyer. So don't wait too long. You can register your case here.
Advice
You can also contact my office for all other problems and general legal questions. I can provide you with short- or longterm advice on how to proceed and whether my assistance is required. I can answer all your questions for a longer period of time. This is done solely on the basis of the fixed legal fee and never on government payment, unless it concerns advice in the context of a legal aid case where the toevoeging has been or will be provided.
What cases does my office not handle?
My office does not handle cases against the municipality/gemeente, the COA or any other administrative bodies. This also applies to cases related to integration or anything else related to migration. For these cases, it is best to contact the Juridisch Loket or another office. At my office, I only handle cases against the IND. My office does not handle asylum cases. Furthermore, I do not offer free initial consultations or introductory meetings, nor do I have paid consultations.
